Happy Wednesday! We hope you all are having a wonderful mid-week. Oh, and Happy October!! We can’t believe that it’s already the first of October today…where did the year go?! We are super excited for the month of Thanksgiving (Canadian), fall baking, Quilt Market, and of course, Halloween!! :)

To get us into the October spirit, we are hosting another Winsday today!! Not sure if you know, but along with our beautiful quilting cottons and other fabrications, we also have felt! We have a wonderful array of hard and soft felt, in a multitude of stunning colors and patterns. Our felt sheets are 12 x 12″ cuts that are perfect for all our fellow crafting enthusiasts.

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. Today is National Mulled Cider Day…yum! And just perfect for the cooler weather, we definitely could use a mug of mulled cider this morning.

Time for this week’s How To’s Day! We have been busy expanding our Free Projects Program on our website, and have been getting such amazing responses from all of you. We thought we would share our newest additions, to our website, on the blog. Today we are featuring our Twist on Tradition Quilt by Larene Smith of The Quilted Button. This is a beautiful, whimsical, and scrappy-like quilt design that would work wonderfully for a baby’s nursery or as an accent quilt on a sofa. The wispy design makes this quilt look very intricate and exquisite, and we think it would be remarkable as wall decor. As well, it looks just fabulous with our Pastel Me More collection, making this quilt happy and popping.

Happy Friday! How has everyone’s week been? It’s been pretty nice here weather-wise, so definitely no complaints…a great way to start off the Fall season. As well, it’s National Pancake Day so we’re thinking pancakes for dinner tonight? Why not haha! We love us a good ol’ stack of blueberry (or chocolate chip…or pumpkin spice…or plain for that matter, we won’t say no) pancakes! Oh yum!! :)

It’s time to end another great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a wonderful little business that has recently made its way online to Etsy. And, as always, this shop features lots of stunning items in delicious and beautiful fabric selections. Lynn, of Lynn Patricia Designs, absolutely adores to sew and finds joy in her sewing studio, playing with all her colorful fabrics and making her sewing machine hum. Because of her passion, she decided to start Lynn Patricia Designs to start selling her designs. She loves bright and colorful patterns, and chooses them to make fun handbags, key fobs, wallets, and other accessories. As well, Lynn can be found at Arts & Crafts Fairs in the Ohio area selling all her lovely designs…

Lynn created these awesome insulated water bottle totes that are great for on-the-go, road trips, and diaper bags! We really love the idea of this water bottle tote, and such a brilliant idea that it is insulated (great for hot and cold drinks). Time for our What We Love #17 ♥ Today we bring to a collection of cute and beautiful things that have been inspiring the Camelot Design Studio as of late. It’s officially the first week of Autumn, so of course we have been transitioning our clothing, shoes, and drinks (PSLs!) to fit the season. We are so excited for apple and pumpkin picking, hay rides, Halloween, plaid everything, and sweater weather! We’re sharing some light-hearted goodies with you all, that is sure to put everyone is a great mood, such as this adorable grill cheese eating bear and this alligator joke. Happy Thursday! We hope you are having a fantastic day so far. Today is National Comic Book Day, and as you may know, we kinda have a love affair with all things comics-related (Archie Comics, DC Comics, Marvel…). So, needless to say, you’ll probably find us bringing out all the oldies-but-goodies comic books from our archives…for a bit of nostalgic reading :)

Time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a wonderful fabric retailer Plush Addict, who has been such an awesome fabric support, all the way from the UK. Plush Addict came about from Kelly’s fabric addiction and desire to sew cute, little nappies for her little girl. She quickly realized how difficult, and expensive, it was to find pretty fabrics for the nappies…so she decided to do something about it! Thus, Plush Addict was born, and quickly blossomed from its starting days in 2012, and has grown into a successful family business. With its success, Kelly quickly expanded her inventory to not only nappy making supplies, but also quilting weight cottons, fashion fabrics, haberdashery, and lots more! Now Kelly has found her dream job, where she gets to do the thing that she loves and work with the people that she loves too! Kelly has always loved sewing, her mum had taught her at an early age, and is excited to teach her own little girl when she is older.

We are so honored to be one of Plush Addict’s favorite fabric companies! We love seeing them showcase our newest collections on their website and Facebook Page, and they have even featured our Free Projects for other sewing enthusiasts to use. They really love our Insulated Lunch Hamper, in Mint Condition, which we can definitely concur with! As well, they have chosen some of our collections as cover pages on their Facebook Page, such as Fairyville (above) and Petite Plume, and think our collections are looking oh-so pretty being featured! It was such a wonderful surprise to see!
