Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a lovely day. It is the last day to enter our Itty Bitty FQB x coordinating Aurifil Spools Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so be sure to enter if you’d like. Good Luck to everyone entering!! PS: We’ve been excitedly going through all the new summer song suggestions, and have been loving them in the office…so thank you so much! :)

It’s also time for this week’s How To’s Day! We absolutely adore Burda Style, and are often found perusing on their website and magazines for sewing and style inspiration. They have a ton of creative and beautiful content each issue, there’s always something new, and we’re always inspired! As well, their patterns are always on-trend and such an ease to work with. They have a fantastic webisode dedicated to sharing sewing tips & tricks, as well as fun project tutorials for everyone. They have an online forum and gallery where fellow sewing enthusiasts can post their newest creations, either using a Burda Style tutorial or one that they made themselves…such a great place to share!

Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday!! We cannot believe that we are nearing the end of March already. But, with the weather also starting to get warmer here, we hope this means that signs of Spring are near! We have been super inspired by all the bright colors and fun prints we have been on Pinterest, in stores, and in magazines!

BurdaStyle‘s Spring 2014 Issue is filled with lots of style inspiration to get you ready for the warmer weather! Along with endless Spring fashion tips and tricks throughout the magazine, the BurdaStyle magazine also includes full-sized fashion sewing pattern inserts for on-trend clothing pieces that you can create, to your taste. We especially adore the fabric 101 section in the magazine that focuses on everything you need to know about fabric, from selection to care and so much more!

Another great feature in the magazine is the Fabric Trends section, showcasing trends for the current season. Our Iconic Collection is perfect for the warmer weather, as the coral and navy hues in classic prints are very nautical and mod/60s-inspired – two huge trends for this season!

We love the combination of navy and coral – very refreshing, vibrant, and happy…which is just what Spring is to us! You can check out our Iconic Collection here for all the designs. We also have a couple of free projects featuring our Iconic Collection – Our Necktie and Conversation Hearts & Banner tutorials.

We also adored seeing popups of our fabric collections, such as Sweet Pea in the background of Denise’s editor’s note and this lovely floral pattern from Baby Dino! We collaborated with BurdaStyle by sending them our fabric collections, and it’s been super fun spotting our designs in their magazine, tutorials, and in the background of their webinairs!

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is having a lovely Thursday. It’s crisp but sunny here today…Autumn’s perfect weather. With Thursdays comes another Thankful Thursday, and today we are taking the opportunity to thank one amazing lady: Denise Wild from LoveSewing.

BurdaStyle has recently launched a new series called Burda Videos on their website, a collection of webinars going back to the sewing basics. Together, Instructor and Online Editor of BurdaStyle.com Meg Healy and Denise Wild have created a fantastic platform for beginner and advanced sewing-enthusiasts alike. Each webinar is colorful, fun, and informative – and the setup is beautiful!

We were so honored to be contacted by Denise Wild. When she asked us if Burda Videos could feature and use our fabrics for their webinars…our answer was, of course, instantly yes! We happily sent over bolts of our fabrics to their studio, and have been super excited to see them being featured in the blog posts and webinars – so much fun!

Burda Videos is such an amazing, new concept that we definitely think everyone will enjoy. You can check out all their webinars here! Also be sure to check out this lovely blog post here which features our fabrics in the background ;)

Thank you so much Denise for the wonderful support and for including us & our fabrics in the Burda Videos webinars!
