Happy Monday! I hope you all are had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend!! It was such a lovely weekend for us, which was spent outdoors swimming and BBQing :)

Let’s start off this week with our Moody Monday! Today we are taking a complete 180 with season, and featuring our Winter Wonderland by Heather Rosas collection. The blue, grey, and pink hues are uplifting and cozy in this charmingly cute collection of winter characters. From the regal ice princess to the sweet penguins, polar bears, and foxes wearing winter gear, Winter Wonderland truly is full of magic & delight! Yes, it’s Summer now but hey – there’s never a wrong time for adorable prints, right? ;) We can imagine a winter-themed quilt or pillow, as well as these dreamy tabbed curtains.

This Pierre Balmain Spring collection was so bright and modern. There was a definite street wear feel to all of his outfits (all the outfits were styled perfectly for the model’s to head to an event after the show!), which is not something you see all the time on a runway. Lots of colorful Spring jackets, printed capris and shorts, and fun textural pairings (leather & lace, satin & animal print). One of the really fun jackets was this snowflake printed one, which we LOVED. It was so cool and reminded us of our Winter Wonderland collection.

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a fantastic afternoon!! It’s Father’s Day this weekend, so here’s to all the incredibly strong and supportive dads – we appreciate you so much!

Time for this week’s Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a super pretty quilt done by Nicole of byLerina. Nicole started her shop in December 2013, when she truly discovered for love for sewing and its craft. She created byLerina, on Facebook and now as an independent website that is coming soon. She sews and features adorable children’s clothing, for little girls and boys, as well as fun accessories and quilts. Nicole designed a precious, little girl’s quilt as a baptism gift – for a girl named Emma. We are so obsessed!

She chose our Fairyville by Heather Rosas as the main fabric collection. It was the perfect girly and playful color palette for this quilt, and we adore how she wrote “Emma” and her birthday on it. Such a touching quilt and gift!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having an awesome half-way so far. We’ve been getting projects (and other fun surprises!) ready for Quilt Market, and are so excited! We’ll be at booth #101, so be sure to stop by and say “hello” :)  
 

Time to announce of Winsday winner! This week, we were giving away our Sea Life by Heather Rosas FQ Bundle on our Facebook Page and were so excited by all of your replies. You all have definitely inspired us in what vacation we want to take next – we didn’t know of all these wonderful and beautiful cities around the world! SO much still to explore!! It’s always nice to daydream about travelling somewhere new. We’re not able to jet off anywhere right at this moment, but we have our lovely Sea Life fabric for inspiration. It’s time to end this week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a super sweet baby quilt by Calamari Quilts, featuring our Folklore by Heather Rosas Collection. Calamari Quilts is an Etsy Shop dedicated to beautiful, handmade quilts. Mother-daughter, sewing duo Mary and Michelle are the creatives behind Calamari Quilts, both with a love for quilting, sewing, and creating high quality items. Inspired by the scenic views around her home and studio, Michelle creates quilts based on the beauty she sees everyday. When her daughter was born, she was given thirteen handmade blankets, and wants to pass along the special-ness she felt to other new mommies.

Calamari Quilts created an adorable baby girl’s quilt called “Wren’s Pals” with our Folklore Collection. We absolutely adore the brightness of the red, contrasted with the different grays in the striped quilt. Folklore is a very feminine and pretty collection of birdies and flowers, so it was the perfect choice for this little girl’s quilt. It would brighten up any nursery, and the extra touch on the binding is fabulous! Such a stunning quilt!
