Happy Fri-YAY!! So excited for the weekend!!! And do you know what’s even more exciting?! Today is National Doughnut Day!! Oh yes, that is right. We donut mess around ;) Hahaha!

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a gorgeous bag made by Becky Proffitt Wright, featuring our London Fog Collection. London Fog is our moody and cool grey/blue collection with a pinch of yellow. This collection reminds us of those temperate, cloudy days better spent indoors with a hot mug of earl grey tea, curled up in bed with a good book. And, if we’re feeling snazzy, maybe a donut too haha. We’d love to be whisked away to London to see the London Eye and Big Ben, but for now, London Fog satisfies that craving.

Becky Proffit Wright made a bag for her friend, using a pattern from Noodle Head Patterns. The lovely Super Tote Bag featured two thick straps for easy travel, an outer pocket, pinched sides, and lots of interior space for your goodies. Becky chose to feature our bold London Fog prints, and we think it looks SOOO beautiful!! We are in love with the mix of blue and grey prints, to create such a fun and stylish tote.

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our fantastic No Sew Mod Tote on the blog. This adorable tote is a no-sew project, so it is the perfect beginner craft and for making with kids. As well, the mod look makes it super stylish and classic – the ideal bag for carrying your lunch with you!

The ducked tape interior is great for any spills because you can easily wipe it away clean with a cloth. Super convenient, super easy to make, and super stylish – what more could you want? :)

Happy Monday! Here’s to the start of another great week – can’t believe that it’s almost mid-August. Where do the days go? We’re trying to enjoy the last bits of hot weather – swimming, going to the beach, refreshing frozen yogurt, and shopping were some of our plans this weekend. Let’s get inspired by this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are sharing our London Fog by Camelot Design Studio Collection with you. London Fog is a classic palette of warm mustard, navy, gray, and a splash of mint. Ruched, tweed, and pretty geometric patterns make this collection contemporary, yet playful. There is a rustic and cozy feel to London Fog, which reminds us of those rainy days spent indoors snuggling into a knitted blanket with a great book and some warm tea. We can imagine a beautiful shift dress or robe in our London Fog’s turquoise and navy print, a men’s tie in contemporary colours, and a modern geometric-infused quilt for a couch accent or bedspread. London Fog is one dashing and classic-feeling collection!

Even though we are still enjoying our summertime, we are starting to think about the transitional period between Summer and Autumn weather. During that time, colors will darken and become more muted. We love the idea of Fall textures and colors with a summer-appropriate outfit, such as a light blouse and a tweed skirt or a t-shirt dress and a utility vest. These simple changes can take your summer wardrobe into the Fall without completely changing your style, or disregarding your Summer items! By mixing and matching Summer and Fall pieces, you’ll get the perfect transitional outfits for Autumn weather.

The outfit below is a perfect example of that – a light, mustard-color blouse and a tweed & leather mini skirt makes this a great transition-into-Fall outfit. Add some black tights and over-the-knee boots and you’ve got yourself a Fall outfit! The patterns and colors in this outfit remind us of our London Fog Collection, and it has definitely inspired us to create our own transitional outfits using our Summer wardrobe. DAY THREE of our Summer 2014 Collections Launch Week means it’s time to feature our third collection! On Monday we shared with you our Paddington Bear by Camelot Design Studio Collection, and yesterday, we featured our whimsical It’s a Bird’s Life Collection by Heather Rosas. Today we are launching our London Fog by Camelot Design Studio Collection! as the name suggests, London Fog is all about demureness and class. With its subdued color palette of warm grey, navy, turquoise, and mustard, London Fog reminds us of a cloudy, but cozy afternoon. Who wouldn’t love to snuggle up in a pretty quilt, with a warm mug of English Breakfast tea, listening to the rain fall? All you need are some fuzzy slippers, your cozy robe, your favorite book, and a blueberry scone or two…and you have yourself the perfect way to spend a rainy day!

There is a contemporary and elegant feel to this collection, and would make for the perfect shirt or tie pairing for your guy’s next event. And of course, we can’t forget our girls!
