Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!! Here’s to a fantastic weekend, everyone! Wishing all our fellow Canadians a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some projects with our Paradise by Alisse Courter collection, created by Deb of Chosen Sisters. Chosen Sisters is an Etsy Shop owned by Capi and Deb, started after Capi had moved away. They wanted to find something they could do together and still be connected as friends. Their shop is a place where you can find unique and vintage-inspired, handmade pieces such as baby bonnets, bibs, traveling pouches, and pretty tape measures (an idea sparked from a magazine image!).

One of their latest additions is with our Paradise collection. We love how they were inspired by the collection, adding little buttons as flower centers – so lovely!! Now you’ll want to display your tape measure on your sewing table, instead of hiding it away in a tangled mess haha ;)

They also created a pouch set with Paradise, which includes a traveling pouch, a matching needlebook, and a tape measure. This would make for such a sweet gift for your fellow sewing friends!

Thank you so much for the fabric love! Your tape measures are genius, and we adore them with our Paradise collection. You can find more from Chosen Sisters on their Instagram, Facebook, and Etsy Shop. Have an awesome weekend!

09 October

Hi everyone,

Happy Fri-Yay! Wooo!! Wishing a great, first October weekend! :)

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a bag created by mbbauer87 (on Instagram!), with our Heirloom collection. Our Heirloom collection is a mustard, grey, and burgundy hued collection of intricate geometrics, perfect for the upcoming cooler months. It is also printed on 100% unbleached, natural cotton which adds to the warmth of the colors in the collection. We love how the bag incorporates Heirloom in a simple, square pattern mixed with solid blocks. She finished the bag with side bow details (which also allows for the bag to expand), and thick, double straps. We love how her bag turned out – it’s the perfect tote for going to the farmer’s market!

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! How is everyone doing? It’s just about the weekend, the last weekend of Summer. And it’s supposed to be a gorgeous one here, so we’re excited to blissfully enjoy it!

Ending a wonderful week with our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing an absolutely gorgeous clambake quilt by Lorrie of SewMod. Lorrie used a Clambake pattern from Crazy Old Ladies Quilts, which is an awesome fat quarter-friendly quilt design. This clambake quilt has a very pretty scalloped-like design, which with our Paradise Collection, gives the quilt a feminine and dainty feel.

A few words from Lorrie:

“The Paradise Clambake quilt will be making it’s first appearance this weekend at my first fall quilt show. I’m expecting the kits to go quickly since it turned out so beautiful. I can’t wait to see my customers reactions. I know there will be some oohs & ahhs! The quilt measures a good throw size at approx. 54″ x 60″ and was quilted by a local long-arm quilter here in Chicagoland, Suzette Fisher.”

Thank you so much for the fabric love, Lorrie!! Your quilt is sososososo gorgeous, and we hope your customers love it as much as we do (oh we know they will ;))! Be sure to check out more from Lorrie on her blog and Instagram. Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!! :)

Ending another wonderful week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring an adorable ensemble of tunics by Lassie Girl, with our Paradise by Alisse Courter Collection. Lassie Girl is an Etsy Shop started by Ashley Yost. She creates and sews “fun & stylish clothing for the modern child” – including pinafores, dresses, and headbands! Her selection of fabrics are bright, modern, and charming and each piece is handmade with love.

One of her recent Fall additions is a uber-cute Pocket Bow Dress with our Paradise Collection, which features a side pocket and bow. She also designed a tunic (coming soon to her shop!) with a criss-cross back which would be the perfect top for a stylish girl! We want both for our (future) little ones hehe ;)

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day!! There is still time to enter our Star Wars: The Force Awakens Giveaway if you haven’t yet.

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a beautiful hexagon quilt by Annika, with our Gypsy Lane by Jane Farnham Collection. Annika created this quilt without a pattern – what a brave soul she is! She had a ton of fun making the hexagons and then piecing the quilt together, having the element of surprise ahead of her. But in the end, everything came out wonderfully and Annika loves her new quilt… which also happens to be her first one! We are sooo impressed. She chose our Gypsy Lane collection, alternating the different prints to create a cool honeycomb look!

What a lovely quilt, Annika! We can’t believe this is your first quilt either, and that you did it freehand. Amazing job!! And thank you for Gypsy Lane fabric love. Have an amazing weekend!
