It’s Day THREE of Our Spring 2014 Collections Launch Week!! Today we are bringing to you two more wonderful collections from the Camelot Design Studio. The first collection we are sharing with you is called Kate!

Kate is sophisticated and classy, and reminds us of an elegant rooftop party during the Summer. The warm hues of this collection – grapefruit, mustard, and indigo – give this geo-printed collection a very modern, on-trend feel. The collection is decorated in pretty geometrics – ogee, tile, chevron, and lattice prints make Kate playful, yet classic. We can imagine a beautiful shift dress & clutch for a modern wedding or dinner event, and a matching tie or bow for your date. Kate is the perfect compliment to your next after-work affair!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It’s Day TWO of our Spring 2014 Collections Launch. Have you seen the collections we’ve launched so far? Be sure to check out Star Wars III, Ultimate Spider-Man II, and Girl Power II. Lots more prettiness to come! :)

We have our How To’s Day for you!! Today’s tutorial is on a really adorable, fun kid’s tote – Our Tot’s Triangle Tote!! We remember being little girls always wanting to be just like our mommies; wearing her heels, putting on her makeup, dowsing ourselves in too much perfume, and of course, strutting around with her clothes and handbags. Now our kids don’t have to go through mommy’s things (although, they probably still will!) because we can make them their very own tote – kid-sized and friendly, but just as chic!   Our younger selves would feel so pretty and grown-up with our very own bag to match our mum’s, putting all the important things inside – like chapstick, animal crackers, and crayons – of course! ;)

We can even imagine little girls and boys going to the playground with our kid tote – the perfect companion for carrying all their park essentials (bubble, sand toys, and band-aids!). They can keep all of their newfound treasures inside too. And there’s even an interior pocket to keep all their special things safe! :)

We used Our Playground by Vita Mechachonis collection for this tutorial; a happy and playful collection inspired by another thing we miss most about our childhoods – going to the park to play with friends, swinging to our heart’s content, and hanging on the monkey bars. So many wonderful memories that make Playground especially nostalgic.

Day TWO of our Spring 2014 Collections Launch Week! Ohhh there are soo many more delicious colors and prints to come. Today we are sharing two of Jane Farnham’s collections. It’s a Jane Farnham day! First up is…Love Letters!

Brimming with stunning pastel colors, hearts, and soft florals…Love Letters is the perfect collection to tell that special someone how much you love them. The ethereal geranium, blues, and greens captivate femininity and sweetness…and remind us of blooming, freshly cut flowers. This collection includes fabric tags that you can use to finish a project or to personalize a gift, with messages such as “with love” and “to, from”. As well, you can customize a quilt or project with the individual alphabets – spell out someone’s name or write a personalized, pretty message!

With today’s technology, it’s easy for people to send a text or email…but remember the days when you would receive a card in the mail? Those were the best, being excited to receive something in the post. Love Letters brings us back to those nostalgic, “good ol’ days” – take a little bit more time to personalize a message to the ones you love, and it will mean so much more. Love Letters is the epitome of ‘pretty’, and we think a sweetheart, tea dress or little clutch with this collection would be the perfect outfit for a Spring party!

Happy Monday! We hope you all had a fantastic and loving Mother’s Day weekend. It was absolutely gorgeous here this weekend, the weather was pristine, and we are hoping it only continues like this! We are also launching our new Spring 2014 collections this week, so there will be extra blog posts today, but we are keeping our regular schedule too. Lots of goodies for you to read/see this week!

It’s time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are sharing our Whoo’s Cute by Heather Rosas moodboard with you all. This collection is soft, cuddly, and innocently adorable. As the name suggests, this is a fun, owl-printed collection featuring woodland-sy branches, leaves, and acorns! Whoo’s Cute features a warm mix of pinks and blues, along with brown and green to match the woodsy theme. The owls are friendly and kind, and the soft patterns make this collection perfect for a girl or boy nursery, or for a couple of sweet, Spring dresses. Whoo’s Cute by Heather Rosas is also available in both cotton and flannel.

Keeping in the theme of all things magical and kid-friendly, Disney’s Maleficent is coming to a screen near you soon! We are just so excited, being uber Disney fans at the Camelot Design Studio, so we will definitely be watching this movie when it hits theaters. We all know the story of Sleeping Beauty, but now it’s the evil queen’s time to shine. The Maleficent movie will dig deeper into the Evil Queen’s reasoning behind casting a sleeping spell on Princess Aurora. What’s even more amazing is that Angelina Jolie will be Maleficent, Ella Fanning will play Aurora. We can’t wait! You can check out the full trailer here! The movie will be in theaters later this month.

One more licensed collection from Camelot Fabrics to complete todays fabric launches for Spring 2014. We have LOTS more coming this week, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. Our last collection launch for today is for our Star Wars enthusiasts!! That’s right! We’re bringing you Star Wars III!

We had gotten such incredible and positive feedback on all of our past Star Wars collections, we knew we just had to bring you another one! And we really hope you enjoy this one just as much. Star Wars III brings back all of your favorite characters again with another out-of-this-world collection! This collection has a very cool, classic vibe to it with its red, blue, and black colorway and vintage poster skus.

Star Wars III correlates really well with our past Star Wars collections, for those who were huge fans, but this one has an added modern twist with some “oomf” that we hope you like. It’s sporty and vibrant, showcases all your favorite characters, and is the perfect addition to any Star Wars enthusiasts’ fabric collection. We can imagine a fun Star Wars tote or room décor, but the possibilities are endless. What would you make with our Star Wars III collection?
