Happy Wednesday! We hope everyone is having a lovely day. We are half-way through the work week! The weather have been pretty calm here this week, but we are expecting to get some more snow this afternoon. Winter isn’t leaving us quite just yet. We’re just hoping for some mild temperatures and sunshine with that snow, please :) Here’s to all the fun snow-filled activities to come!

Today is our Bumper-2-Bumper Pinterest Giveaway winner announcement. It was our first time hosting a Pinterest giveaway, and we are so happy so many of you joined in and participated. Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. The end of the Winter holidays only means the commence of all celebrations to follow (ie. Valentine’s Day, St. Patty’s Day, Easter, etc.). With the bountifulness of all the upcoming celebrations, having the appropriate attire is always *fitting*. And yes, from one woman to another, it’s honestly one of the best parts of a holiday – finding a new and pretty outfit to match! ;) But…how about the men in our lives?

Sure, a man can wear his best suit…but even they have the chance to amplify their outfit a bit. Changing up a necktie design is one of the easiest ways to start anew with a basic suit. Today we are sharing our DIY necktie tutorial with you all! Any design would look fantastic with our tutorial, but we especially adore our Iconic collection as an added freshness and modernity to a look.

Happy Monday! We hope everyone is having a great start to the week. How was everyone’s weekend? We can’t believe we are already almost mid into January , but 2014 has been pretty lovely so far! The weather has been changing pretty ferociously, from hot to cold and gloomy to sunny. And with the ever-changing influx in weather comes lots of sniffles and runny noses. Alas, the season of colds is among us. Getting sick means the need for lots of vitamin C, which can be found in yummy fruits such as oranges, apples, and strawberries. The thought of delectable fruits have inspired today’s Moody Monday post. Today we are inspiring you with our Fruit Stand by Jane Farnham collection.

Fruit Stand is a beautiful collection, with a very warm and home-y feel. The wonderful hues of purples, chartreuse, coral, and teal make for a very cozy palette – the perfect collection for all your kitchen decor needs! This collection would make lovely curtain, tablecloth, apron, and cloth napkins for a modern country, farmhouse, or cottage feel.

Better Homes and Gardens always posts such incredible interior design ideas for the home, and we are always inspired. One section that we particularly love is their kitchen decor. Looking at all the dream kitchens make us long for our own fabulous and bright kitchen, but for now looking will have to suffice. Their country and cottage kitchen sections are the perfect backdrops for our Fruit Stand collection – so fun, fresh, and cozy! You can take a look here for all their kitchen inspirations.

Happy Friday! It’s just about the weekend!! Does anyone have any special plans? It’s going to be rainy here for us, but we’re looking forward to a movie night in – complete with buttered popcorn, S’mores, warm socks, and a much needed Katherine Heigl movie marathon. Cheers to the weekend! :)

Today is Fan Friday here on the blog, and today we’ve got a super special treat (for both you and us!). We adore seeing all your projects using our fabric, but we’ve recently been posting our DIY free projects on our site which we are very excited and proud of. One of our most recent projects have been our Stegosaurus Plush Toys, and we received the best surprise from Judi who created her own steggies!

They are honestly absolutely too adorable for words. Judi created four of her own stegosauruses for her grandchildren, using our patterns, and even put her own spin on each of them. We love that each stegosaurus has its own personality – so so cute!!

Hello sweet steggies!! We are so thrilled that you enjoyed using our stegosaurus pattern, Judi! As well, thank you SO much for sharing your project with us. Everyone here is gushing over how adorable and lovely they are!!

We’ve also got our Thankful Thursday! Today we are taking the time to thank Maureen, from the blog Maureen Cracknell Handmade. Maureen started her blog as a creative outlet in 2010, a place where she shares all things in lieu with her passions of sewing, fabric, knitting, felt, and everything else craft-related.
