Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! It’s time to round out the week with our Fan Friday post! Today we are sharing a very cute and sweet pattern shop, Create Kids Couture. Shannon and Tiffany are the two creative ladies behind Create Kids Couture, a fun pattern boutique that started in July 2011 with only 5 patterns. From there, the boutique quickly grew in popularity and have now expanded to over 300 patterns for babies, women, tweens, boys, dolls, and more! With Create Kids Couture, they strive to create patterns that are both easy to follow and pretty – ruffles and anything girly are a must!

Inspiration for their designs is often sparked from their daughters’ tastes and surroundings, but for their Ginger’s One Shoulder Dress, they were inspired by our In The Navy by Jackie McFee collection! So sweet so hear, and it seriously made our WEEK! The goal was to create a dress with the fabric collection that was summery and showcased a multitude of designs…and we definitely think they succeeded! The tiered design of this maxi dress is super lovely and we adore the bottom ruffled layer (we agree that one can never wear too many ruffles or color!). The pattern also comes with a top version, which is fantastic. This is the perfect cruise or garden party dress for a sweet, little girl!

She is absolutely adorable!! :) And the matching rose headband and necklace are perfect accessories!

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. We are excitedly preparing for some Easter festivities here at the office, including a fun Easter egg hunt and pastel washi tape wall décor. We’re excited!! And to those who celebrate, Happy First Day of Passover! :)

It’s also time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing a fantastic project for you all, just in time for all the upcoming Spring celebrations. We love celebrating anything, but there is nothing as pretty as a springtime tea party infused with all things colorful and bright…and of course, lots of fresh florals all around!

How To's Day | Square Bunting Banner Tutorial | Neon & On by Jackie McFee for Camelot Fabrics

With the amount of celebrations we have throughout the year, we are always up for the challenge of decorating to our heart’s content! We love crafty and DIY parties, and we always find a ton of inspiration on our Pinterest. The project we are sharing today, our Square Bunting Banner Tutorial, is perfect for any occasion or party – it is simple, but adds the perfect amount of punch to any décor, especially with our Neon & On Collection. And because this is made from fabric, it can be reused for multiple occasions, and can be used later on to decorate a bedroom!

Hi everyone!

Happy Monday! We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Let’s start off this week on a positive note! And in keeping with that theme, the weather seems to be cooperating with us today. We are supposed to be getting up to 23°C in temperature – definitely no complaining here! :)

Let’s start off the week with our Moody Monday! Today we are inspiring you with a pretty and springtime appropriate collection, our Theodore & Izzy Collection by Andrea Turk for Cinnamon Joe Studio. Theodore & Izzy is a very girly and feminine collection, decorated with lovely pastel florals, bees, and honey bears. This collection is sweet and gentle, perfect for a newborn’s nursery – imagine a matching crib comforter, bed skirt, rail protector, and curtains with Theodore & Izzy in a honey themed room! Complete the room with a couple of bear plush friends, a friendly bee mobile, & a cozy baby quilt and it will be the sweetest room for any little honey bear to grow up in :) This collection reminds us of all the things we are especially looking forward to in Spring such as walks to the park, weekend picnics, and tea parties!

And keeping in theme with all things pretty and sweet (in every best way!), celebrations are coming up too! That means fun Easter crafts, exciting Easter egg hunts, and of course all the delicious food to celebrate Passover and Easter! What better place to get all your inspiration from than at the Martha Stewart website – the epitome of all things yummy, creative, and pretty! It is the one-stop place for every sort of crafting or party-planning idea, from baby showers to holidays to girl’s night in!

Recently, Martha Stewart posted some Passover recipes, and for dessert no less (our favorite!). We cannot wait to try the chocolate cake with espresso glaze and matzo s’mores – um, yum!! She has also got you covered with her Passover entertaining tips. For Easter, she has shared some egg-cellent ideas on everything egg-related, from decorating hard-boiled eggs to egg recipes. Be sure to check that out too here! We are very much inspired, and egg-cited to start our own holiday party. Thanks, Martha! :)

We hope you have enjoyed this week’s Moody Monday and have been inspired. You can check out our Theodore & Izzy by Andrea Turk for Cinnamon Joe Studio collection here. Have  an egg-static (haha last egg pun for today, promise!) rest of the day!

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday everyone! TGIF!! We hope everyone is having a wonderful, sunshine-filled day. If not – we’ve got something to brighten your day! We are giving away a Bright Now Fabric Stack on our Facebook Page this week!

To end this week, we have got our Fan Friday!! Today we’ve got another incredible project to share with you all – Yana from Hemming Birds created a gorgeous half-apron that is absolutely perfect with our Iconic Collection. Yana made this wonderful half-apron as a wedding shower gift for her best friend, Melissa, who resides in New York City.

The design is loosely based on a vintage apron Yana had seen in an antique store. It’s also reversible…AND has pockets (We love ANYTHING with pockets here at CF!). She chose our Iconic Collection for its more modern esthetic, and it is honestly a perfect pairing with this half-apron. And I mean, who wouldn’t want to bake up a batch of oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies in this adorable apron? :)

Yana and her sister-in-law, Jennifer, started their blog Hemming Birds to share their passions for cooking, baking, and sewing as well as mom/family-related topics. Moreover, they will be opening up a handmade shop in May, which will be featuring handmade children’s accessories – bibs, girl’s handbags, backpacks, aprons, and more! They have also posted the tutorial for this half-apron on their blog, so be sure to check it out. What’s even more exciting is that you could win your very own Iconic Apron on their blog – so be sure to enter the giveaway for your chance! This apron makes us want to do some baking and cooking, and we are super excited for whoever wins.

You can also find the wonderful and super creative ladies of Hemming Birds on their blog, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Thank you so much, Yana, for sharing your half-apron with us! It is absolutely stunning and seeing the pictures made our day!! Have a wonderful weekend everyone, and don’t forget to stop by our Facebook Page to enter our Bright Now Giveaway.
