Happy Monday! How was everyone’s weekend? It’s official Summer now…Happy Summer!! Here’s to yummy BBQs, fun get-togethers, and warmer weather!! :)

It’s time to start off the first week of Summer with out Moody Monday! Today we are inspiring you with our Black & Tan Collection by the Camelot Design Studio. Black & Tan is an absolutely beautiful, sleek collection of herringbone, houndstooth, chevron and animal print (leopard and zebra…how fun, right?) designs in a mix of black, white, and tan. This collection is strong, modern, and has an affluent appeal…it reminds us of all the business men and women, busily rushing to and from work on Wall Street, dressed in fitted dark suits, mahogany or black shoes, and matching briefcases. And then after work, taking a quick stop…into Barney’s of course!

Black & Tan is a great collection to mix into any current décor with its neutral colors and prints, and would make for the perfect throw quilt. How about a matching foldover clutch and full skirt? Yes, please! :) Be sure to check out the full Black & Tan collection here!

Didit Hediprasetyo’s Spring 2014 Couture Collection is the epitome of 50s-inspired and classic, in both silhouettes and patterns.  The collection features neutral black and brown tones but in some really fun prints – tweed, houndstooth, and leather! We absolutely adore the mix between black and tan, two strong colors that go really well together is paired properly. We love Didit Hediprasetyo’s twist on a retro jumpsuit in houndstooth, especially with the little glints of shimmer and leather detailing. This collection definitely reminds us of our Black & Tank collection, and we especially love this look…and this one! You can check out the full collection HERE! :)

It’s time for our weekly What We Love post!! With Summer officially coming this weekend, we are definitely inspired by all things bright, fun, and happy! We are excited for all the awesome pool parties and Summer bonfires to come this year…which will definitely include lots of yummy food, delicious drinks, and a reason to wear that new Summer dress! It’s time to start off this week with our Moody Monday! Today we are inspiring you with our Singin’ the Blues by Jackie McFee Collection!! Singin’ the Blues, as the name suggests, is a spectacular collection encompassing different shades of blue. The vibrant mix of cobalt blue, topaz, and mint colors reminds us of the ocean…we could definitely imagine a beach vacation somewhere near the Mediterranean Sea with these blue hues, and the stunning chevron, dot, medallion, and lattice designs. But if you can’t whisk yourself away to a beach vacation right now, you can create that same feel with a Mediterranean-inspired room. Imagine ocean-inspired curtains, elegant chevron pillows, and a matching modern, blue-hued quilt! Who really needs a getaway now…right? :) See the full collection here!

We love getting inspired by the runway trends for the upcoming season! One show that particularly is reminiscent of our Singin’ the Blues Collection is that of Chloe‘s Spring RTW line. The whole Chloe collection reminds us of a tropical, Mediterranean vacation…and the essentials you’d want to pack! Think loose, but still sleek, silhouettes in earthy tones, white, and blues in beautiful draping and flowy materials. So so pretty!
