Hi everyone!

Happy Thursday! We hope you are having a great day thus far. Today we woke up to a breezy -26C, with a windchill of -36C. Hello frozen face, frozen legs, and frozen toes. Oh man, it was NOT pleasant to be walking out there.

But we’re warming things up with some love today, with our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our project designers, Cindy of Quilt Doodle Designs. Cindy has always been a sewing enthusiast, having been encouraged by her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She learnt about sewing and quilting as a small child, and her love for the craft has only blossomed into adulthood. Cindy has been doing some quilt sketches before a quilt retreat, when the idea to bring “sketches to life”, with creating her own patterns, came to life! She started Quilt Doodle Designs to offer her fun and whimsical quilt patterns and appliques to a wide array of skilled quilters. Cindy now offers a multitude of different quilt patterns, in correlation with her quilt blog adventures & BOMs.

We had the pleasure of working with Cindy to create a free, exclusive quilt pattern for our Free Projects Program. We absolutely adore her Flower Power Quilt because it is unique and soso pretty. We love the flower appliques, and think it looks wonderful with our Petite Plume Collection. Such a whimsical and creative quilt design! It’s time for the first What We Love of the year!! Wowee!! ♥ 2015 has started out amazingly thus far, and we cannot wait for all the other things to come. New Year, New You…right? We’ve made a few new year resolutions that we’re hoping we stick to…at least for a couple of months, haha!

We have had a really great holiday break, and have been inspired by the things we had done. So many wonderful memories to be made, and to be inspired by, during the holidays. Now, onto the things we have loved most this week… ♥

Happy Wednesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day. We posted our very first How To’s Day of 2015 yesterday, and it’s an awesome one! We shared our DIY Essentials Case Tutorial that we are sure you will absolutely love – click HERE for the full tutorial.

The holidays are officially over, and so are our holiday giveaways. Today we are announcing the two winners to our Peacock Garden and Kate Giveaways that we hosted on our Facebook and Instagram pages, respectively. We had so much fun reading all of your comments – we saw our favorite holiday movies & treats being listed, but there were also lots of new ones we’d never heard of before…but definitely want to! We won’t be running out of holiday movies or treats for Christmas 2015. Happy Monday! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!! Oh, and Happy New Year! It is 2015…wait, what? Where did 2014 go? LOL. We had an amazing 2014, and are super excited for everything that is to come this year. It’s going to be a good one! :)

Starting off 2015 right with our Moody Monday, for your daily dose of inspiration. Today we are featuring our Marvel Comics II Collection by the Camelot Design Studio. This collection brings to life all of your fav9rite Marvel characters, from Spider-Man to Iron Man to the Hulk, and more! The colors in Marvel Comics II are bright and vivacious, the primary color scheme being blue, red, and grey. Deck out your little superhero-in-training’s bedroom with some Marvel Comics II pillows and coordinating tabbed curtains. And don’t forget about the little hero’s outfit. We love the idea of a Marvel Comics circle skirt or tie – and be sure to complete the look with a cape! ;) We also have lots of fun quilt patterns for all our fellow Marvel Comics enthusiasts!

We absolutely adored Versace’s Fall 2014 RTW Collection! The darker hues of burgundy and teal, followed by bright pops of color, gave this collection a very warm and romantic feel. There was definitely a military-esque look to the outfits, with the structured jackets, laced up boots, and button detailing. Even so, there was a femininity to this whole collection that was softened by the more delicate textures and silhouettes. We really loved this outfit, which was reminiscent our Marvel II Collection – strong and powerful! You can see the full collection here.
