The illustrations are just beautiful. As well as Moomins on the Riviera. Furthermore, food is on the brain – our famous Montreal bagels are an everyday favorite, finished off with a good beer. Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day!! :)

Thankful Thursday time! Today we are featuring an awesome quilt shop, Provo Cotton Shop, with a love for Camelot Fabrics. Provo Cotton Shop is a lovely quilt shop in Provo, Utah dedicated to pretty fabric, and all things sewing-related. From shop hops to amazing sewing classes, Provo Cotton Shop wants everyone to fall in love with the ease of sewing. This June and August, they will once again be hosting a couple of sewing classes for kids called their Summer Kid’s Clubhouse. It’s the perfect activity to keep kids busy this Summer, and they’ll learn a fun skill. They also participate in sewing retreats, have sewing lectures, and host monthly challenges!

And yes, of course, they also sell lots and lots of gorgeous fabric – including our Wildflowers by Alisse Courter collection. They chose to feature mostly Wildflowers in their Bloom (pattern by Abbey Lane Quilts) Quilt Kit. A perfect choice for this floral-infused quilt design, Wildflowers adds such a pretty flair to the butterfly and flower patterns, and is the perfect showstopper piece to walk in to.

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are doing well today. It has been SO hot this week – waking up to 24°C/75°F (plus humidity!) has not been super fun, but at least it’s nice & sunny!

It’s Winsday, so that means it’s time to announce the winner of this week’s giveaway. This week, we hosted a Gypsy Lane FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, and in line with our latest collections launch, we asked you what your favorite Spring 2015 collection was. From Star Wars: Immortals to Green with Envy, we saw them all – and it was so fun to read which were favorites! (And, stay tuned for a tally of the results too).

We can’t believe that Spring Quilt Market has come and gone. We are still reminiscing of all the incredible moments we had in Minneapolis, all the wonderful people we got to meet (getting to meet our pattern designers was incredible! Oh and did you catch Jackie McFee? Truly made our trip even more fun!), and all the delicious food we had. Yummmm. Our booth was such a fun one, with lots of bright colors and awesome projects! The featured collections this time around were Gypsy Lane, The Kitten’s Meow, Heavy Metal, Botanical, Scented, Zoey, Elixir, and our Mixology/Fresh Solids.

We received so many amazing compliments on all of our projects…so pattern designers & sewers – thank YOU!! Another fun moment was getting Batman, Wonder Woman, SuperGirl, Spiderman, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader to make an appearance – we loved seeing your pictures. Time for our How To’s Day! Today we are featuring a beautiful pillow pattern for our Free Projects Program, made by the lovely Veronica Koh Eischeid of VeronicaMade. Modern Cross is a fun take on a flower/star cross design, which is the focal point of the pillow. Mixing and matching different patterns is what makes this pillow awesome; we love keeping the background neutral so that the middle pops! We chose to feature our Paradise by Alisse Courter Collection with Modern Cross, choosing our bright orange, fuchsia, and purple prints for the middle, and a pretty floral, neutral background. We love how it turned out, and think it would be beautiful in any feminine space.
