From the rich, autumn colors that are soon to decorate our streets to the anticipated smells of cinnamon and apples (mmmm, nothing beats fall baking!)… we are excited to turn over a new leaf (hehe) with the upcoming season. Time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a fantastic quilting and sewing hub, Craft of Quilting. Craft of Quilting is changing the wave of traditional quilting methods, by showcasing the more modern methods, fabrics, and patterns that have evolved from a classic craft. They have all the tools you need for your next modern project – fabric cuts, notions, how-to techniques, and kits! From beginner to more advanced patterns, they are sure to have something for you. A couple of our quilt & pillow patterns were featured in their latest Summer 2015 catalogue, including some exclusive Craft of Quilting patterns with our Gypsy Lane, Zoey, and The Kitten’s Meow collections.

They styled each of our projects, complete with their photoshoot. We love how fresh and cozy all the pictures are! All of the featured projects, and more, can be found as kits on the Craft of Quilting website.

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a great one. Today is National Cinnamon Raisin Bread Day, and as fall is a week away, it sounds like the perfect afternoon treat to us (fresh out of the oven, with lots of butter of course!).

Last week, we hosted an exclusive Star Wars: The Force Awakens Giveaway on our Facebook Page. We launched our new Star Wars: The Force Awakens collection on Force Friday, and we were so enthused by the incredible response by our fellow Star Wars enthusiasts. SO glad you think our new collection is cool and epic – we agree!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a great day. It’s the last day to enter our Star Wars: The Force Awakens Giveaway on our Facebook Page.

Time for today’s How To’s Day! This week, we are featuring one of our free quilt patterns – Border Blast by The Quilted Button. The Border Blast is a fun play on different types of borders to create a quilt pattern , including checkered rectangles and different width-ed borders. We chose to keep this one simple (though it also looks great with our designs – such as with our What a Gem Collection) by using our Fresh Solids. Different shades of blues and purples combine to create this bold and blocked quilt.

Happy Monday!! How was everyone’s weekend? Any fun projects that you’re working on? We’d love to know!

It’s time for our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring Carbon – one of our latest colors to become a part of the Fresh Solids collection. Carbon is a moody and broody, dark grey color that meshes well with a lot of different palettes. Warm a bright project with a bit of carbon, or create a neutral-colored quilt. And with the fall time coming soon, carbon is one color that is sure to keep all of your projects (and you!) feeling oh-so cozy. Our carbon color is available as a solid, as well as in our herringbone and honeycomb prints.

We are obsessed with how fresh and modern Calvin Klein’s Fall 2006 Collection is. Even almost 10 years later, his ensembles are all pieces we still see on the streets, in the magazines, and as upcoming trends. We love the neutral palette he chose – a classic look for the autumn weather. We adore this outfit, which is reminiscent of our Carbon herringbone print. Simple, classic, but that skirt is incredible.
