I know we have been posting a ton of blog posts this week, so this one will be very short and sweet :) I just wanted to let all of our Quilt Market friends know that we are hosting QM Giveaways all weekend. Happy Friday!! We hope you are all having an extraordinary day!! It’s the first day of Quilt Market – if you’re there, be sure to stop by Booth #1425 and check out all our latest collections/projects. We would love to see you! As well, we are hosting a total of FOUR Quilt Market Giveaways, have launched our Spring 2014 Collections all this week, and are hosting a collaborative chalkboard fabric & chalk marker giveaway with Marvy®/Uchida (enter here!). Phew!! What an exciting, but busy week! A long weekend is well deserved ;)

We are finishing off our full week with our Fan Friday, and thought that it would be great to share something adorable. Zura M. from Sew Retro Chic made an Imaginarium Quilt for her nephew, Afeeq, and oh my goodness – it is just too precious!! Of course we had to share a picture of the little guy too, because he just makes us smile…too much cuteness in one picture!! :)

The Imaginarium Quilt features the wonderful turquoise, yellow, and grey colorway from our Imaginarium collection, making it the perfect quilt for a baby boy. The soft hues, along with the fun pinwheel design on this quilt, really compliment one another perfectly and makes this quilt super comforting and sweet. Some words from Zura: “This quilt is a labor of love. I made 9 pinwheel blocks, sashed & bodered. But I machine stitched the binding because at that time my sister in law was already in labor! Lucky I made it in time for this sweet boy to enjoy….” We really hope Afeeq loves his Imaginarium quilt as much as we do!

Thank you SO much, Zura, for sharing your Imaginarium Quilt with us! It is absolutely beautiful, and we really hope Afeeq has been enjoying snuggling with it. We’ve got one more Spring 2014 collection to share with you all!! Last, but definitely not least, we are sharing our Singin’ The Blues Collection by Jackie McFee for Camelot Fabrics.

Jackie McFee’s Singin’ The Blues is ornate and vibrant collections of, as the name suggests, blue tones! The beautiful mix of cobalt blue, topaz, and mint colors makes this collection very light, breezy, and ocean-inspired. This collection reminds us a beach vacation somewhere near the Mediterranean Sea, such as Greece – the rustic architecture, the clear waters, the rich culture, and the delicious food! Wouldn’t that be an exquisite vacation? Singin’ The Blues is decorated with elegant designs of medallions, ogees, hexagons, and lattices all in wonderful blue hues. So, so pretty! We can imagine a Singin’ The Blues summer frock, a room with a Mediterranean theme complete with flowing curtains, and a tote bag to carry all your beach treasures.

Today is our last day of Our Spring 2014 Collections Launch – we share with you our two final collections. We really hope you have been enjoying all of our Spring 2014 Collections; you can see all the blog posts of each individual collection here, as well as all the designs here. Our next collection we are sharing is…Black & Tan by Camelot Design Studio!

Black & Tan is infused with rich and exuberant neutrals – black, cognac, marigold, and white make this collection minimalistic, yet modern with its chic prints. This collection includes beautiful houndstooth, fretwork, herringbone, and leopard print patterns, keeping Black & Tan classic but trendy. Black & Tan has a very affluent vibe, and makes us want to take a shopping trip to New York City. Off to Barneys and Saks 5th Avenue, please! ;) We can imagine a very sleek Black & Tan clutch, matched with a neutral-printed midi skirt. And how about a quilt or two to decorate a space? Because of its neutral colors and prints, a Black & Tan quilt would be perfect with any décor!

It’s time for another Spring 2014 collection launch!! The next Spring collection we are sharing with you is…Folklore by Heather Rosas!

Heather Rosas’ Folklore is the epitome of festive happiness with its eclectic color palette of poppy red and bright turquoise. The colors together create a unique combination that is both modern and folk-inspire, with the leaves, floral blooms, and bird prints. With a Scandinavian influence, this collection is vivacious and charismatic, reminding us of festival season and our love for the outdoors. This collection reminds us that we need to start planning our Summer garden party! We can imagine a beautiful Farmer’s Market tote (imagine picking up fresh produce & cut flowers with this collection?), a cute summer frock, or some cloth napkins for your Summer gatherings!
