It’s time for our Moody Monday! Today we are inspiring you with our Love Letters by Jane Farnham for Camelot Fabrics Collection! It’s also time for our Fan Friday! What a great way to end another fantastic week, the first official week of Summer! And just in time for summertime, we are featuring an awesome Etsy Shop today….Vintage Divinities! Vintage Divinities, a really fun clothing Etsy Shop by Martha Godinez, is dedicated to vintage-inspired pieces such as crop tops, printed shirts, skater skirts, floral crowns, and tulle skirts! All of the items are handmade with love, and all done in really bright and festival-inspired prints and colors.

When we saw this crop top with our Star Wars fabric, we had a moment!! We absolutely adore how fun and modern this top is, with a Star Wars twist. And because it is Summer, we are all about comfort and casualwear…while still being put together and on-trend, and this is the perfect top for that. It would be great with a high-waisted pair of shorts or tulle skirt – so cute!

It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our fantastically talented quilt designers, Marta of From Marta With Love! Marta has always been a sewing enthusiast, but she found her true passion with quilting in 2010. A friend had shown her how to piece a quilt block, and from there, she began reading books and blogs on quilting…and found her quilting calling! From there, she started quilting more and created her blog, From Marta With Love, as a way to document her sewing adventures. Her blog is dedicated to both quilts and crafts, and she shares sewing tutorials for quilts and bags, patterns, giveaways, and more. From Marta With Love is bright, colorful, creative, and fresh…and that’s what attracted us to the blog!

We had the pleasure of working with Marta on a quilt design for our Free Projects Program! We loved Marta’s modern design esthetic and knew she would be a wonderful addition to our pattern designers family. Marta created her Chevrons Arrow Quilt for us, and boy is it a stunner!! We absolutely love the perpendicular alignment of the chevrons in this quilt design, and the cleanness of the rest of the space. Marta used our Singin’ the Blues by Jackie McFee Collection from our Spring 2014 lines, with our Au Natural Fresh Solid, and it is soso beautiful.
