It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of the many wonderful projects we had sewn for our Spring Quilt Market booth. Carrie Burnett of Beri Bee Designs sewed a clutch with our Elixir collection, using the In a Clutch Cosmetic Case pattern by SewStitchingHappy. We loved the simplicity of the clutch pattern, and wanted to feature our feminine orchid hues from Elixir in a chic way. We chose our orchid ikat print for the clutch’s body, complimented by the orchid honeycomb print for the top trim. The cosmetic case turned out beautifully; the perfect pop of color to have in your handbag.

Thank you so much, Carrie, for sewing this clutch for us for our Quilt Market booth. It looked wonderful in the Elixir section! You can find more from Carrie on her Facebook, where she creates and sews children’s clothing and accessories. Have a fabulous rest of the day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are have a fabulous day. It’s a little chilly here today, but the sun is out and bright!
Sharing our Thankful Thursday for this week! Today we are featuring one of our fellow creatives, Silhouette America. Silhouette America is the makers of one of the crafting industry’s favorite electronic cutting system. They offer a multitude of different machines for personal preference and usage, as well as thousands of electronic designs to choose from. Crafting, scrapbooking, and creating has never so easy – or so fun!

As well, they work with some lovely sewing people who create unique projects for their blog. We sent them some of our felt for projects, and were super excited when we saw these. Martha, from the blog The Art in Martha, designed these adorable Build-a-Monster Felt Puppets with our hard felt and her Silhouette machine. It’s a friendly craft project to do with kids, as they can have fun choosing which “eyes”, “nose”, and “mouth” they want. As fun and easy as that, you’ll now have your happy felt monster puppets to play with!

Thank you so much, Silhouette America and Martha, for the super awesome project. We’re so glad you enjoyed creating with our felt! You can find the full tutorial for Martha’s felt puppets on the Silhouette America blog. Have a grrrrrreat day! ;)

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day – Happy #FriendshipDay!! As well, if you haven’t entered our Magnolia FQ Bundle Giveaway yet, be sure to check it out here.
Thankful Thursday time!! Today we are featuring an adorable little ballerina doll that we had sewn up for our Spring Quilt Market, featuring our Heavy Metal Collection. Kara Orr, an incredible sewer and friend of Pattern Revolution‘s, sewed a couple of projects for us for our booth, including Briella the Ballerina (that’s what we named her hehe). The pattern is from the retromama pattern shop which features a bun hairstyle, little ballerina shoes, and a full tutu. She just dazzled in our Heavy Metal collection. The crinoline skirt & gold ribbon that Kara added were the perfect touches; she did such an incredible job bringing her to life!

Kara, thank you for bringing Brielle to life for us – she is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined!! Everyone absolutely adored her at Quilt Market. Stay tuned for the other projects Kara made for us – you are wonderful. Have an awesome day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovely day. Today is National Vanilla Ice Cream Day… we’ll gladly have ice cream of ANY flavor, any day. If we could, of course haha ;)
Time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a fantastic quilting read, the McCall’s Quick Quilts magazine. McCall’s Quick Quilts is the McCall’s magazine dedicated to the beginner quilter, those who have just found an interest in quilting and aren’t quite sure where to begin or those who are looking for some easier-leveled quilt patterns. As the name suggests, this magazine is all about modern quilting, and focuses on patterns. Each issue includes a good number of quilt patterns to choose from, so you may have some future WIPs coming up ;) “Make fresh, fun, fabulous quilts” is this issue’s motto, and we couldn’t have summed it up better ourselves.

In the latest issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts, Tammy Silvers of Tamarinis (also one of our amazing pattern designers!), designed a quilt pattern for them called Morning Stroll. Morning Stroll focuses on a lesson on quick and easy curves, using templates to create pieced wedges. The quilt pattern features our Folklore Collection by Heather Rosas, with the pretty red and blue feminine prints creating such a stunning bed quilt.

Thank you Tammy for choosing our Folklore collection, and for McCall’s Quick Quilts for featuring the wonderful quilt pattern. You can find the Morning Stroll pattern in their latest issue, so be sure to check it out!! Have a fantastic rest of the day!

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a new pattern by Tie Dye Diva – the Jon & Janie Romper! Jen, pattern designer behind Tie Dye Diva, creates wonderful and easy-to-follow clothing & accessory patterns for boys and girls. The Jon & Janie Romper is an adorable little romper pattern for your little one, as it can range from newborn to 3 years old. There are two versions, the classic romper with straight legs or with a gathered-bottom bubble. The gentle curves and snap inseam of the romper make it comfortable with a diaper. And bonus! There is a tutorial that will also show you how to make a dress version from the same pattern.

Bibbity Bobbins sewed a version of the Jon & Jamie Romper to be featured with the Tie Dye Diva pattern, with our Let’s Go by Andrea Turk Collection! She chose the green design with adorable little foxes, and we love how sweet it looks as a full romper. Her son is looking very happy & dashing in his new playsuit!

Thank you so much, Jen, for choosing our fabric collection to feature with your new pattern! You can find the pattern for the Jon & Janie Romper here. Jen also designed a Tunic & Bloomers set for our Free Projects Program which you can find here & here. Have an awesome day!
