Time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a fantastic quilting and sewing hub, Craft of Quilting. Craft of Quilting is changing the wave of traditional quilting methods, by showcasing the more modern methods, fabrics, and patterns that have evolved from a classic craft. They have all the tools you need for your next modern project – fabric cuts, notions, how-to techniques, and kits! From beginner to more advanced patterns, they are sure to have something for you. A couple of our quilt & pillow patterns were featured in their latest Summer 2015 catalogue, including some exclusive Craft of Quilting patterns with our Gypsy Lane, Zoey, and The Kitten’s Meow collections.

They styled each of our projects, complete with their photoshoot. We love how fresh and cozy all the pictures are! All of the featured projects, and more, can be found as kits on the Craft of Quilting website.

Craft of Quilting – your latest catalogue is a stunner!! We had so much fun flipping through it, and seeing all the beautiful fabrics and projects (such as ours! ;)). Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. We’re hosting our Star Wars: The Force Awakens Giveaway on our Facebook Page – be sure to enter!!

Keeping up with our Star Wars theme these past two weeks with our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of the awesome projects we had created with our Star Wars: The Force Awakens collection – our Bucket Bag! Stephanie Baldwin, a fellow Montrealer, member of the Montreal MQG, and voice behind this blog, is one of our favorite people in the city to sew projects for us. She is super talented, efficient, and creative – and every project she has done for us…. we all smile with excitement and say “wow!”.

For the launch of our Star Wars: The Force Awakens collection on Force Friday, we wanted to share some projects created with the designs. We chose our Bucket Bag, one of our free projects, which is a super cool beach, gym, or weekender bag – perfect for a Star Wars fan!

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a marvelous day. We are SO excited here in the studio, because tomorrow is #ForceFriday – woot woot!!

It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a wonderful online source to the quilting and crafting world, FaveQuilts. FaveQuilts is a website dedicated to all things… well quilting!! It is basically a one-stop destination for your quilting resources; from tips and tricks to a bountiful list of free quilt patterns – it has so much to explore! As well, they host giveaways on their website and we recently collaborated with them on one. Along with the A Marsala Moment FQB Giveaway, Christine at FaveQuilts.com reviewed our fabric and said the nicest of things!! We are so glad you love our marsala and copper-infused collection.

Sharing this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our awesome quilt shops, Nana’s Quilt Cottage in Colorado Springs. Nana’s Quilt Cottage is a local, family owned quilt shop filled with lots of modern & pretty fabrics, project patterns, and notions. As well, they offer wonderful sewing classes, with a range in skill levels to be taught. Among the many fantastic teachers at Nana’s Quilt Cottage, is Nikki Rainey who joined nana in business in 2014. One of the bag patterns in their shop features our Paradise collection, which creates an absolutely stunning bag – featuring a fun bow detail! We love the Paradise prints that were chosen to create this stylish tote.

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day!! Today is National Lemonade Day, and what a perfect day for it to be… a cool, refreshing glass of lemonade is just what we need on this hot day!

It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! One of the coolest “retail shop” ideas we’ve seen… we bring to you Trailer Stash Fabrics! Just as the name suggests, this fabric shop is housed in a restored, Vintage 1963 Shasta 1900 Deluxe Travel Trailer. It doesn’t get any more awesome than that! Owner, Gina Allen, also has an Etsy Shop that she sells fabric and quilt kits. But a couple of times a month, Gina will stock up her trailer with her favorite fabrics, and head to different pop-up sales & sewing workshops.

She will also create quilt samples to showcase the fabrics on her trailer… and most recently, she had one created with one of our fabrics… and with one of our free quilt patterns! She chose our Crossroads by Jessie Kurtz quilt pattern, with our bright and fun Paradise Collection by Alisse Courter. It looks absolutely stunning, even before it has been quilted!

She also had one created with our Darling Collection, using our Plus Sized Free Quilt Pattern.
