Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a fantastic one. Woohoo – it’s just about the weekend!!

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing the most precious of dresses, made by Chonte Simmons of DaeMoo & Co. DaeMoo & Co. started when Chonte wanted to her daughters to dress uniquely, while accessorizing and expressing their individual girly styles with bracelets, necklaces, and other fun accessories. Pursuing her own love for handbags, she started to design and make her own – along with diaper bags – and her business continued to blossom from there. Now she designs and sells all sort of unique pieces for both mommy and kids. Her shop name is inspired by her daughters, Journey (Dae) and Jordyn (Moo), and adores all the pretty fabric (especially anything sparkly!).

Chonte recently came across our Love Letters by Jane Farnham collection. Inspired by the sweet patterns and muted colors, she chose to make an adorable tea-styled little girl’s dress. We love how she chose to create a dress out of the gift tag print, and complimented it perfectly with a pastel peach peter pan collar & sash. And the lace trim – so feminine and pretty! We just adore this dress, and can imagine a darling little girl twirling around in this dress!

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a brilliant day. Be sure to check out our last two posts – both giveaways, and both equally amazing!

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a super awesome basket created by Krysta Higgins. Krysta is a craft and sewing enthusiast, and shares her latest finds and creations on her blog and Instagram. She recently made herself a basket – using the Hour Basket Pattern from Hearts and Bees – and chose our Star Wars fabrics as the main attraction. And oh man is it coooooool. It is such a handy basket to have – one can never have too many things to organize with! She currently uses it to store some of her fabric stash. Great idea, Krysta!

15 January

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! Hope everyone had a great week – our first of 2016, and it’s been a pretty good start thus far!

Time for this week’s Fan Friday! Today we are featuring an amazing set of Marvel products that Amanda of jajogifts made this Christmastime. Jajogifts is an online shop started by Amanda while she was on maternity leave. She has always loved crafting and making things for her friends & family, so starting this new venture was perfect with the bit of free time she had. She is inspired by her children. She created a teepee tent for her son Joseph’s first birthday, and after a positive response from friends & family, the Jajo Teepee became a permanent product in her shop, and one that continues to a super popular item!

This Christmas, she created a version of her Jajo Teepee for her nephew with our Marvel Comics Collection. It is seriously one of the coolest projects we’ve even seen! In addition to the tent, she also created a couple of pillows and a bunting banner. We hope her nephew enjoys playing in his new teepee; it looks like a blast!

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful one!!

Time to end this week with our Fan Friday! In honor of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie launch today, we thought it would be perfect to share a Star Wars Quilt created by Ashley Tabatha Quilts. Ashley realized she had a mishmash of pieces of our Star Wars fabric, and decided to do something with them rather than to keep hoarding them. Her idea? A quilt! She chose a geometric, repeat pattern quilt and mix-and-matched the prints. All of the designs are different, but we love how the colors still blend well together – those blues, reds, yellows, and blacks – it truly encompasses everything we adore about Star Wars. Her quilt still needs to be sewn and quilted… but we just couldn’t wait to share it!! Especially on this most anticipated day!

18 December

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! I hope you are having a fantastic one!! We had our Secret Santa and cookie exchange in the office, so we’re all a little hopped on sugar and presents this morning. Can’t every day be like this? ;)

Time for our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a darling mini quilt Ida of IdaRatherBeQuilting made for the Cut Up and Quilt Mini Swap. Ida is big fan of negative space, especially as it gives a fresh and modern look to a quilt. She doesn’t always gravitate towards bold geometrics, but little pops are always fun with negative space. She had some of our Emilia double gauze fabric left from the quilt she made for us for QM, and decided to create this gorgeous quilt – with a stunning lily design. She calls it the Lily Gauze quilt.

How pretty is that? We hope the quilter who received the Lily Gauze quilt adores it as much as we. We are so happy Ida enjoyed working with this collection, and made something extraordinary with the fabric leftovers. Be sure to check out more from Ida on her blog and Instagram. Have an incredible weekend, everyone!
