I just love this week’s Moody Monday fabric collection!

Captivate_Inside_Board - Copy

Captivate by Alisse Courter is such a beautiful collection that sets the tone for a very feminine and romantic project!  The rich plum accent fabrics blend well with the soft pink and taupe fabrics.  There are so many ways we can combine these together.

Hi everyone,

Happy Fri-YAY!! So excited for the weekend!!! And do you know what’s even more exciting?! Today is National Doughnut Day!! Oh yes, that is right. We donut mess around ;) Hahaha!

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a gorgeous bag made by Becky Proffitt Wright, featuring our London Fog Collection. London Fog is our moody and cool grey/blue collection with a pinch of yellow. This collection reminds us of those temperate, cloudy days better spent indoors with a hot mug of earl grey tea, curled up in bed with a good book. And, if we’re feeling snazzy, maybe a donut too haha. We’d love to be whisked away to London to see the London Eye and Big Ben, but for now, London Fog satisfies that craving.

Becky Proffit Wright made a bag for her friend, using a pattern from Noodle Head Patterns. The lovely Super Tote Bag featured two thick straps for easy travel, an outer pocket, pinched sides, and lots of interior space for your goodies. Becky chose to feature our bold London Fog prints, and we think it looks SOOO beautiful!! We are in love with the mix of blue and grey prints, to create such a fun and stylish tote.

Thank you for the fabric love, Becky! We hope that your friend loves her new London Fog bag, because we are obsessed! If you’d like to make your own Super Tote, you can find the pattern here. And with that, donut forget to have a fantastic weekend (yup, we had to ;))!

Happy Sewing!

Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far, and didn’t go too crazy with yesterday’s Cyber Monday. If you did, no worries…it’s the last day to enter our Winsday, and we are giving away our Spectrum FQ Bundle this week. Be sure to enter here!

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our fantastic No Sew Mod Tote on the blog. This adorable tote is a no-sew project, so it is the perfect beginner craft and for making with kids. As well, the mod look makes it super stylish and classic – the ideal bag for carrying your lunch with you!

The ducked tape interior is great for any spills because you can easily wipe it away clean with a cloth. Super convenient, super easy to make, and super stylish – what more could you want? :)

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! How has everyone’s week been? It’s been pretty nice here weather-wise, so definitely no complaints…a great way to start off the Fall season. As well, it’s National Pancake Day so we’re thinking pancakes for dinner tonight? Why not haha! We love us a good ol’ stack of blueberry (or chocolate chip…or pumpkin spice…or plain for that matter, we won’t say no) pancakes! Oh yum!! :)

It’s time to end another great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a wonderful little business that has recently made its way online to Etsy. And, as always, this shop features lots of stunning items in delicious and beautiful fabric selections. Lynn, of Lynn Patricia Designs, absolutely adores to sew and finds joy in her sewing studio, playing with all her colorful fabrics and making her sewing machine hum. Because of her passion, she decided to start Lynn Patricia Designs to start selling her designs. She loves bright and colorful patterns, and chooses them to make fun handbags, key fobs, wallets, and other accessories. As well, Lynn can be found at Arts & Crafts Fairs in the Ohio area selling all her lovely designs…

Lynn created these awesome insulated water bottle totes that are great for on-the-go, road trips, and diaper bags! We really love the idea of this water bottle tote, and such a brilliant idea that it is insulated (great for hot and cold drinks). Lynn used our Frolicking Forest by Heather Rosas Collection for her insulated water bottle totes, and they look fantastic! Our Frolicking Forest by Heather Rosas Collection makes this water bottle tote bright, fun, and adorable.

Thank you for the fabric love!! We absolutely love your Frolicking Forest insulated water bottle tote. You can check out more from Lynn Patricia Designs, and see where she will be next, at her Etsy Shop. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Sewing!
