Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful and love-filled holiday break!! Here’s to an amazing 2016! :)

Time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Jungly by Andrea Turk for Cinnamon Joe Studio collection. Jungly is an adorable and whimsy collection of jungle animals – flamingos, loving lions, eager elephants, and more! The collection also includes playful heart and scalloped prints, in coordinating coral and mint colors. Such a sweet collection for a little girl or boy’s room – complete with some plush animal friends, and they’ll be in their own jungle!

Misha Nonoo’s Spring 2013 RTW collection is full of eclectic, bold prints and colors – from palm leaves to feminine florals. Her designs definitely remind us of springtime, especially the flowy maxi skirts and flirty mini skirts. Such a fun one! We are also fond of her flamingo printed dress, reminiscent of our Jungly collection!

Happy Monday! We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend; the first weekend of Spring! We’ve been hit with a couple of super cold days, but we’re hoping it’s just the last of them.

Time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Zoey Collection by the Camelot Design Studio, from our Winter 2015 Launch. Zoey is a beautifully feminine collection of soft blue, mint, and peach hues in paisley, floral, and lattice prints. So delicate and pretty, our Zoey Collection would be the perfect compliment to a feminine bedroom or living space. We can imagine some lovely Zoey throw pillows, billowy curtains, and a soft peach-grey quiltto match. As well, have brunch (with mimosas, of course!) with your girlfriends in a Zoey tea dress – and you’ll be extra chic and fabulous!

Dior’s Spring 2015 RTW Collection gives a whole new meaning to “girly with a futuristic edge”. Mixing clean-cut shapes with feminine colors & prints, Dior’s Spring Collection features their classic 50s silhouettes but with a twist – full skirts with capes, pretty florals with cutout tanks, culottes with pastel cocoon jackets. We absolutely adore the juxtaposition of using different style genres! We’re loving this outfit, reminiscent of a print in our Zoey Collection.

The official, last Monday of August!! Today we are sharing our It’s a Bird’s Life by Heather Rosas Collection for this week’s Moody Monday. It’s a Bird’s Life brings you the majestic-ness of a beautiful and temperate field of fresh blooms. The sounds of the birds happily chirping, the smell of the luscious florals, and the feeling of the crisp air – that is all the things that It’s a Bird’s Life reminds us of. This collection is a mix of warm grey, coral, yellow, and mint hues in whimsical designs of birds, birdhouses, flowers, and geometric patterns. We could imagine a darling little girl’s half-circle skirt or little tot’s tote in this collection. And, how about a floral & bird infused quilt or two for your bedroom or living room? LOVE! One collection that reminds us of the prettiness of our It’s a Bird’s Life is that of Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2014 RTW Collection. Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2014 Collection  encapsulates a very whimsical, nature-inspired feel to it with floral vines decorating the clothing pieces and printed scenes from Greece. Gabbana describes the collection as “an unconscious dream”, as the clothing have a contrasting feel of real and what is irrational, which can only be found in dreams. We get that sense of fantasy and imagination in this collection, which inspired us with this week’s Moody Monday for It’s a Bird’s Life. It’s time to start off this week with our Moody Monday! Today we are inspiring you with our Singin’ the Blues by Jackie McFee Collection!! Singin’ the Blues, as the name suggests, is a spectacular collection encompassing different shades of blue. The vibrant mix of cobalt blue, topaz, and mint colors reminds us of the ocean…we could definitely imagine a beach vacation somewhere near the Mediterranean Sea with these blue hues, and the stunning chevron, dot, medallion, and lattice designs. But if you can’t whisk yourself away to a beach vacation right now, you can create that same feel with a Mediterranean-inspired room. Imagine ocean-inspired curtains, elegant chevron pillows, and a matching modern, blue-hued quilt! Who really needs a getaway now…right? :) See the full collection here!

We love getting inspired by the runway trends for the upcoming season! One show that particularly is reminiscent of our Singin’ the Blues Collection is that of Chloe‘s Spring RTW line. The whole Chloe collection reminds us of a tropical, Mediterranean vacation…and the essentials you’d want to pack! Think loose, but still sleek, silhouettes in earthy tones, white, and blues in beautiful draping and flowy materials. So so pretty!

Happy Monday everyone! We hope you are all having a wonderful day. Welcome sweet treats, love notes, and heart-shaped {everything}….here’s to a fabulous February!! ♥

To start off this new month, and to begin the week, we’ve got another Moody Monday for you. A new month calls for new beginnings and fresh starts, inspiring us for today’s blog post. Today we are inspiring you with our Mint Condition by Jackie McFee moodboard. Mint Condition is a lovely mix of cool tones, the color leads being mint and grey.

This collection is soft, crisp, and serene…the perfect compliment to a house by the beach or lake (or one with a complementary theme…because alas, not everyone has the luxury of living by the water). The contiguous theme of mint and grey in this collection follows pretty designs of hexagons, dots, chevrons, and posies. This collection would make a stunning Spring dress, couch covers, or evening clutch – and everything else in between! You can check out the full collection here.

In keeping with the air of softness and prettiness, we’re very much inspired by Christopher Kane’s Spring 2014 RTW Collection today. Kane’s recent collection was an aura of black, lavender, and mint green however it was the mint green outfits that particularly stood out to us. The whole collection was very lady-like and feminine with the midi-length skirts, lace details, floral prints, and muted hues.

Even so, the fun cut-outs and sheer panels called for a more modern flair to the collection that we adored! The minty-hued outfits were very reminiscent of the elegant and classic vibe from our Mint Condition collection, very fresh and perfect for the upcoming Spring season.
