Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fabulous day. I hope you have been enjoying our Winter 2016 Collections Launch Week! Be sure to check out our latest launches here.

And speaking of things we enjoy, we absolutely adore when we hear the sweetest things about our fabric collections. And one shop who we just have to feature is Handmade for Hannah. Handmade for Hannah is a shop located in Australia, dedicated to showcasing simple designs in beautiful, high-quality fabrics. Sindy is the owner and designer behind the shop, with her shop name being inspired by her daughter. The wonderful thing is that each item in the Handmade for Hannah shop is carefully handmade by Sindy, so each piece is unique and made with love.

One of her recent handmade items is a custom, scoop-back dress for Julie, featuring our Let’s Go by Andrea Turk fabric. The light orange fox print is so pretty with the white piping around the neck and back line, and picot lace trim along the hemline! It is the most precious of little dresses, and we hope it gets to go on many fun adventures.

Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day! Did you see yesterday’s Winsday post? Enter to win 3 yards of our soft and cuddly Bambino fabric!

On to this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a lovely Australian-based online pattern shop, Tadah! Patterns. Tadah! Patterns evolved from Lauren Harris’ (owner and creative behind the brand!) love for sewing and want of creating clothing that is both comfortable and beautiful for little ones to wear. She loves timeless styles, with a modern twist, which she uses as influences in her patterns. She is passionate about sewing, which definitely can be seen in her gorgeous, easy-to-follow patterns. Her goal is to design patterns that fun to sew, but that result in professional quality garments.

One of Lauren’s latest patterns is the Tea Party Dress. The Tea Party Dress pattern is a darling little dress, that includes over 190 unique combinations – from sleeve, neckline, skirt length, skirt type, accessories, and more! The Tea Party Dress pattern allows for you to customize the perfect dress for your little one, whether it be for a day to the park or for a wedding! Additionally, the pattern includes sizes from 6 months to 8 years old, and is great for medium-skilled sewers.

Laura of LauraCreates, sewed a version of the Tea Part Dress for her daughter, Harriet, during pattern testing with our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham Collection. This dress features a full skirt, half-cap sleeves, and a scoop back. Her little one looks oh-so precious in her new party dress, and she is ready to dazzle and dance!

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! And Happy #ForceFriday! It has been all Star Wars, all day loooong on our blog – including our exciting launch of our Star Wars: The Force Awakens collection.

Ending our week with our Fan Friday, with one of the coolest Star Wars ensembles we’ve ever seen! Shawnee of thedisneyworldgirl is a, hence her Instagram handle hehe, huge fan of Disney. Her Instagram account is probably the next best thing to actually being at the parks!! On her account, she shares her Disney World adventures, and also ventures to many of the yearly conventions.

When we saw the dress she had created with our Star Wars fabric, we were so impressed!!! She used a vintage pattern to make the dress, and even sewed a matching set of Minnie ears! To complete the look, she wore Star Wars tennis shoes with fun, blue laces. So adorable!! We are so in love with her outfit – we can definitely call her a true Star Wars fan!

Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day – Happy #FriendshipDay!! As well, if you haven’t entered our Magnolia FQ Bundle Giveaway yet, be sure to check it out here.

Thankful Thursday time!! Today we are featuring an adorable little ballerina doll that we had sewn up for our Spring Quilt Market, featuring our Heavy Metal Collection. Kara Orr, an incredible sewer and friend of Pattern Revolution‘s, sewed a couple of projects for us for our booth, including Briella the Ballerina (that’s what we named her hehe). The pattern is from the retromama pattern shop which features a bun hairstyle, little ballerina shoes, and a full tutu. She just dazzled in our Heavy Metal collection. The crinoline skirt & gold ribbon that Kara added were the perfect touches; she did such an incredible job bringing her to life!

30 July

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!! Woo it’s just about the weekend!! We’re also hosting an Emilia FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so if you haven’t entered yet, be sure to!

It’s also Fan Friday time! Today we are featuring a super sweet dress sewn by Kreated by Kate, with our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham Collection. Katelyn Boehm, designer and creator behind Kreated by Kate, makes custom hair bows, dresses, tutus, and more for little princesses-at-heart. Her style is very feminine and sweet, which is her source of inspiration when designing and choosing fabrics for her clothing. She loves all the ruffles, all the tulle, and all the pink. Of course, we wholeheartedly think the exact same way. Hehe! ;)

One of Katelyn’s latest dresses is using a Create Kids Couture pattern – the Loretta Dress. The dress features gorgeous ruffle cap sleeves, an empire waist, and an adorable y-back detail. Loretta can also be made into a ruffled-hem maxi dress and top, but Katelyn opted for a shorter version and styled it with little cowboy boots on her daughter. SO cute! She chose our Peacock Garden collection for this dress, with the green prints as the main and some pink for the details. Such a sweet dress!!
