I remember, a few years ago, a friend of mine commented on all the quilting blogs she was reading and I just couldn’t believe how many she was following.  I had replied that I simply did not have the time with the three babies in the house.  But in the next few days I made an effort to start reading one a day. Now that there is no need for diapers, strollers and bibs in my household, I dedicate 20 minutes every morning to blog reading.  And I also spend time writing some of my own blogs too.

I was on holidays last week and that gave me even more time to read up on some of my favorite blogs and I was surprised to see many writing on very delicate subjects.  Now I am not the type to write comments after reading the blog but the ones I read on holidays are still with me. So I want to take the time on this Thankful Thursday to say thank you!  Cause that’s what blogging is all about!

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! I hope you all have been keeping up with our posts these past couple of days, as we have been launch our Winter 2016 collections. It’s been a great week!

And what better way to end our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a super sweet Little Bird quilt, quilted by Maggie of It’s Maggie Made. Maggie’s sister will be welcoming a baby girl in March, and as this will be the first girl in five years on Maggie’s side of the family, she wanted to make something extra special. She saw our Little Bird fabric, and knew the colors and prints would be perfect for a baby girl’s quilt. And she was right – how cuddly and wonderful does her quilt look?

Maggie has an Etsy Shop, where she shares all of her fun creations which includes quilts, burp cloths, elephant softies, & more! She also shares her quilts on her Instagram and blog. Thank you so much, Maggie, for sharing your quilt with us. We are so glad you adore our Little Bird collection. Have an amazing weekend!

This Thursday, we’re inspired by artists and their times, from bold 1920s illustrations, to a groundbreaking Canadian writer, to “The Most Beautiful Game You’ve Ever Seen”. Meanwhile, about seven and a half thousand kilometers away (that’s roughly 4700 miles), our beloved Juan is on vacation in Panama with his family… not that we’re jealous or anything.
