Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Have you entered our Farm Stand Giveaway yet? Be sure to head on over to our Facebook Page to enter.

Speaking of giveaways… there’s another chance to win another of our collections! This week, FaveQuilts is hosting a Winter Wonderland by Heather Rosas FQB Giveaway on their blog. It’s the perfect collection because of the season – who says winter can’t be cheerful and fun? Along with the giveaway, they also shared a review of the collection. It is so wonderful to hear what others think of our collections, as well as their ideas as to projects and design combinations. Our favorite part of their review was when Dana mentions her friends having different favorites in this collection: “If we as grown women are giddy over this collection, children will be, too. They will love and appreciate a new quilt made from the charming fabrics in this collection”. We are so glad you all adore this collection as much as we do!

Hi everyone!

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovey day.

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! New year, new beautiful quilts to be discovered!! Today we are sharing a gorgeous quilt pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Co. – Broken Bars! A version of the Broken Bars Quilt was created by Cristina Tepsick from Pretty Little Quilts. The quilt design reminded her of rows of books, and from that inspiration, created a Jane Austen-inspired color scheme with our Magnolia by Alisse Courter collection. She followed Jenny’s tutorial pretty much to a “t”, but changed the sizes of the strips to give an authentic bookshelf feel. We love her version, and how she even added strips of horizontal pieces to reference a real book’s spine. The Broken Bars quilt is such a great one, and we adore how Cristina revamped it! What a fantastic tutorial reboot.

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a couple of quilts done for us by Vicki of Orchid Owl Quilts. Vicki is truly a quilting goddess, and we adore working with her! We are kind of obsessed with her Instagram too – she’s always posting something new and beautiful – we recommend all quilters to check it out! One quilt she did for us was our Box Trot Quilt, with our Mickey Mouse and Friends collection. We love how the primary colors in this collection just pop. especially with the black borders around alternating rectangles. It perfectly brought together our whole Mickey Mouse and Friends section!

The other quilt she did for us was the Crossroads Quilt, featured in our Nordic section. This quilt is definitely very intricate – especially with all the little, alternating triangles – and Vicki did such a fantastic job. It was a stunning backdrop to our Nordic palette chair. So cozy and warm!

17 December

Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovely day!

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! We wanted to share a couple more Quilt Market projects that were sewn for us, for our booth. We were connected with Larissa Gibbs – a wonderful blogger and pattern designer – this year, and she sewed three projects for our Quilt Market With Love section. The first project we chose for With Love is the Seamwork’s Adelaide dress – a casual tank dress with a waist-tie. We decided the vintage-inspired scrolls print would be perfect for this dress!

The next is Swoon Pattern’s Blanche Barrel bag, which with With Love by Jack!e McFee, makes for a very sweet and feminine gym or shopping tote. The final project was a bow clutch, pattern by ConstructivePatterns. We chose the fun hearts print for this one, and matched with the funky bow detail, love how it turned out!!

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Today is Let’s Hug Day, so sending all of your all a virtual hug :)

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are sharing a couple of projects from our Quilt Market booth, sewed by the wonderful Shannon Fraser of sf.designs. The first is a stunning Whimsical Quilt, with our The Alchemy Collection: Indigo by the Camelot Design Studio. The blue hues of Alchemy gave a playful look to the whimsy-inspired quilt design.

Our Flourish by Ciana Bodini collection stood out in the best way, with our Saybrook Pillow. The gorgeous blue and mint hues popped, especially next to the clean white space. What a wonderful pillow to decorate a neutral living room!

And last, but never the least, our Peaks & Valleys Table Runner was a great choice with our Mickey Mouse & Friends collection. The white space allowed for the primary colors in this collection to be the star of the table runner. We adore how Mickey Mouse & the gang add a warm, nostalgic feel too. So sweet!!
