The summer is now here and it is safe to say that my family is now officially in casual mode.  They want to wear simple, comfortable clothe and I am all for nice summer dresses.  You’ve seen many posts featuring our wonderful collection as such.  But I know some of us have had graduations and will have weddings to go to. If you’re like me, than you’ll want to bring some of those fun fabrics with you even if it is a bit more formal.

Who said How to’s day  blog posts had to be about quilting and sewing?  This is a special How To’s as I will show you how to plan a weekend getaway to Vermont with your Best Quilting Friends! I know this post is late for this year, that’s because I was living the moment over the weekend! I hope this post will inspire many of you to plan this trip in 2017.

I feel very fortunate to have many Best Quilting Friends and a bunch of us got away from it all and headed to our favorite place to be on the last week end of June: Vermont.

Remember last week I showed you how to make a pillowcase for Father’s Day?  As my son still refuses to give up his new treasure, Cinzia has come up with another project that is quick and easy to do just in time for Sunday: A reversible drawstring apron!

The Lavishmint collection by Jackie McFee is getting a lot of attention since it’s launch earlier this month and lots of people stopped at the booth during Quilt Market to see it up close.  No wonder! Our projects were oh so adorable!
