Winsday: Wildflowers FQ Bundle Giveaway!

May 6th, 2015 by Camelot Fabrics

Hi everyone,

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are all doing fantastic today. Interestingly, today is National Beverage Day...my favorite drink of choice on a hot, sunny day would have to be good ol’ lemonade. Yum! What is yours?

Another Wednesday, means that it’s Winsday time! Just in time for Mother’s Day this weekend, we’re hosting a Mother’s Day Giveaway on our Facebook Page. We love our mums – aka best friend, biggest supporter, teacher, shoulder to cry on, hand to hold when the tough gets tough, role model – and wanted to host a giveaway dedicated to the strongest of women.

The prize is a stunner, reminiscent of our mums: our Wildflowers Collection by Alisse Courter. This collection is deliciously feminine and pretty, encapsulated by florals in soft grays, greens, and pinks. It definitely is one of our fan favorites too, as the collection is now completely sold out. Want to win this stack of beautiful fabrics? Head on over to our Facebook Page, find the Giveaway Image, “LIKE” the image, and comment letting us know what your favorite memory with your mom is. There are probably a million-and-one moments to choose from, but we love that this question will also bring up good times and be nostalgic. See below for full rules!

For as long as I can remember, my Mom and I would play Yahtzee together. We didn’t need formal score sheets and all scoring was by dice dots only. We could carry 5 dice in a soft cigarette case, which we used to roll them. I think that is how I learned math and my lower times tables! Happy #Winsday! And Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms out there.

sewing with my Mom and going outside on Mothers Day, May 9 1977 and seeing what flowers were coming up and how the lilacs were coming. I was the only one of her kids that she got up for and she passed that night.

Going to church with my Mom. She always dressed to the nines to go to church and I thought she was the most beautiful woman in our church. She has dementia now but she still likes to look pretty.

One of my favorites is in the kitchen with my mother, one day we made 70 jars of chili sauce, I still use her recipe, my mother was amazing in the kitchen and she taught me so much, I miss her so much!

My Mother has been gone 23 years but for the 40 years I had her, I can’t remember 1 day I didn’t spend laughing, talking, singing, sharing memories. I miss her – she also gave me my love of sewing.

my favorite memory of my Mom & myself has occurred ever since I can remember: she is, unfailingly, even handed with myself & my two sisters. Never favoritism, never bought for one & not the other.

my favourite memory would have to be making cookies rolling the cookie dough in to balls and squishing down with a folk. she always let us ice the cookies when they had cooled. oh and getting into trouble for eating the peas when we had to depod them for dinner.
